I have gambled on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this technique! And a number of days ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original $10 wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of $20
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
